So here we are about to wrap up 2008! I can't believe it has already come and gone..... We have one last wedding to shoot, and then its on to 2009! So what are our resolutions? Well besides losing weight ( as if that will really happen) I WILL CATCH UP ON MY BLOG!!!!!!! I have some AMAZING Weddings to post from 2008, so stay tuned for a wedding with an ocean view, a very "wild" wedding, and a destination wedding ( for me anyway) in Arizona! It's Official..... Im a Grandma!

So my baby "Madame Moiselle Coco-Bean Chanel" aka "Bean Bean" had her first little baby at 5am this morning! His due date was June 1st but were happy to have him here a day early! Proud father Kingston is very curious about this new little guy, but is being kept away by protective mommy. (She is doing a great job!) Little Baby was a surprise being born white! It is a very rare and hard trait to find in yorkies, but she hit the jackpot the first time! ! We are happy to welcome Baby Vegas to the world!

How I spent my week...

Wedding photography seems to be so ingrained in my life that even my emergencies schedule itself around the weekends. Monday night, I started to feel really sick but thought that is was just food poisoning. By early Tuesday morning around 4am I new I was extremely ill and my husband rushed me to the ER. A few hours later they told me my appendix had to come out. Not such a great way to start off my Tuesday :( I was really happy to have my family there with me and everyone working at the hospital was so great! I was kept in the ER until the evening and went into surgery around 6:30 pm. I woke up around 9 that evening, sore and exhausted and stayed another sleepless night at the hospital. I was released around 3pm on Wednesday and was so happy to be home and appendix free. After 36 hours in the hospital, and 3 incisions and 0 sleep, I am trying to look on the good side of this whole operation and have come up with my top five list of reason why this is a good thing!

5. I guess we don't need it anymore!
4. I can stay in PJ's all week
3. All the Jello I can eat!
2. No driving in traffic for at least a week!
And the number 1 reason.........

1. It can guarantee it WON'T happen on YOUR wedding day!

But all Joking aside, thanks so much to everyone and their well wishes, and thank you all for your patience while I recover over this next week! I will do everything I can to get back on track in the following weeks to come!

Wow so 2007 has come and gone! This past year seems to have flown by so fast! 2007 was a busy but fun year in wedding photography!
